Ambulance:
Marshall/Harrison County
Ambulance provides regional ambulance service. Each of the 44 fireman
of the City of Marshall are certified EMTS.
Police:
Marshall has 52 police officers
that contribute to the safety of the city. With 1 officer for every
500 citizens, Marshall is far below the national average in violent
crimes, murder, robbery, and aggravated assault. Average total response
time is three to five minutes.
Harrison
County Sheriff’s Department:
The Harrison County Sheriff's
Office employs more than 85 Deputies, Detention Officers and Civilian
employees. This progressive agency serves the citizens of the county
and actively participates with local, state and federal Law Enforcement
Task Forces to deter narcotic violations, auto thefts, family/child
abuse and major crimes.
Fire:
Firefighters at
3 stations are fully equipped to serve the city during emergencies.
